Child Jesus Parish

The Child Jesus Parish is in the district of Boeung Tumpun, south of Phnom Penh, to the following address: #98 Road 10BT – Sonsom Kosal – Boeung Tompun – Mean Chey – Phnom Penh. Indications to find the parish can be obtained on the page Finding the Churchs.

Comprising about 400 parishioners, it is the largest of the three churches of the pastoral center Phnom Penh South, and brings together the most activity described in section activities and projects of this site, including two student centers, a kindergarten, many religious communities and lay missionaries nearby, etc.

From a historical perspective, the parish celebrated its 20 years late November 2014. During these 20 years, the parish has gradually expanded. The ceremony of laying of the foundation stone of the present church was held on December 17, 2006 and its consecration on January 6, 2008, the day of the Epiphany, while the last building constructed on the parish, the St. Therese building the Child Jesus, which houses the kindergarten St. Lucie, a Smateria workshop and a large meeting room, was blessed on April 28, 2014 by the apostolic vicar of Phnom Penh, Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler.
